Ans: All those Institutions which imparting Higher Education as per definitions given below: “Higher Education is defined as the education, which is obtained after completing 12 years of schooling & is of duration of at least nine months. Or After completing 10 years of schooling & is of duration of at least 3 year. E.g. Ph.D., M.Phil., Post Graduate, Graduate, PG Diploma, Diploma, Certificate, etc. in any stream like Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering, Architecture, etc.
Ans: For registration on AISHE portal, the University Nodal Officer(UNO) may send a request to aishe-helpdesk[at]nic[dot]in through e-mail for addition of the University Name along with documents mentioned in the guidelines for the addition of university link.
Ans: For registration on AISHE portal, the College or Stand-alone Nodal Officer may register themselves on AISHE WebPortal under the link “Request for Adding Institution”.
Ans: If the institute is already registered on the portal user may check the current status of the institute on home page of AISHE under the link “Know Your AISHE Code”.
Ans: If the institute is registered under College category and the status of the institute is showing as ‘De-affiliated’ user may contact the concerned University nodal officer(UNO) or email at on aishe-helpdesk[at]nic[dot]in with current academic year affiliation document, a request letter for activation of AISHE Code along with Undertaking Form on your official letterhead. If the institute is registered under Standalone category and the status of the institute is showing as ‘inactive’ then user can email at aishe-helpdesk[at]nic[dot]in with current academic year affiliation document, a letter of request letter along with Undertaking Form on your official letterhead. Ans: If the current status of the Institute is showing as ‘Deleted’, user need to re-register their institute on AISHE portal for getting the AISHE Code (New).
Ans: If the institution got approved to start any new degree programme with or without Diploma Programmes, then the institution is eligible for upgradation from Standalone to College Category.
Ans: The institute need to send a request on aishe-helpdesk[at]nic[dot]in attaching along with the current academic year affiliation letter from the affiliating University and request letter on their official letterhead for upgradation of the institute.
Ans: The procedure of upgradation of institution to University is similar to Addition of University. You can click here to know about the process and necessary documentation required for addition of university.
Ans: Once the institution allotted an AISHE Code nodal officer and the institutions may click here to create their new login credentials.
Ans: If the user have his/her registered email-id, he/she can click here to get the User-Id on his/her registered Email Id.
Ans: If the user have his/her User Id, he/she can click on Forget Password to send the reset password link on his/her registered Email Id.
Ans: User can go to ‘Edit Registration’ option after login on AISHE WebPortal, clicking on setting icon displaying at the right side of website header.
Ans: User may send a request on official letterhead to AISHE Helpdesk with complete institute details and AISHE code regarding updation of registered Email Id.
Ans: University: User need to send a request on official letterhead to AISHE Helpdesk with complete details of University including AISHE code along with the gazette notification reflecting updated information, in Hindi/English language. College: User can directly contact to University Nodal Officer or can also send us a request on official letterhead to AISHE Helpdesk with complete institute details having AISHE code along with affiliation letter from University for current academic year reflecting updated information that must be in Hindi/English language. Standalone Institution: User need to send a request on your official letterhead to AISHE Helpdesk with complete institute details including AISHE code along with affiliation document of current academic year from affiliating body reflected updated information. This document must be in Hindi/English language.
Ans: User can request the Nodal Officer of the current affiliating university to first de-affiliate the college from their University and then contact to Nodal Officer of new affiliating university to affiliate the college their university or user can also sent the details with notification of change of affiliating university at AISHE helpdesk also.
